I am seeking collaborative ideas relevant to the given question.
Which one you prefer:
1. Traditional ways (Indigenous ways of knowing) or
2. Western knowledge system
And why, or can be a combination but how.

I am sure a combination of the two will benefit all.
For example, when I was teaching North American natives the subject of geology, formation of the planet, etc I was aware that the majority are very strong Christians, therefore, I combined their "myths" and the Bible with "western" data on a comparative table linking the two admirably. Everyone was happy.
My publication on this subject:
A synergy of the two systems of knowledge. If pushed very tightly to choose, I will choose traditional knowledge

I agree and both points are valid. Having read 100's of article for literature review. I am still puzzled of why the Western system could not reconcile or acknowledge the traditional knwoledge.
