Remarkable if you have the decrease monotonous in 5-300K. Is it so over the entire range? Probably, you cannot reveal which semiconductor it is! It would help if you do. Anyway, can you do temperature-dependent Hall experiment to see the carrier mobility variation?

I thing measuring of of optical band gap may give an indication about degeneracy of of your semiconductor

@ Kanad, conductivity is increasing with the decrease in temperature throughout the range and the resistance of the film is ~10 Kohms. I have also measured the carrier mobility which is also decreasing in this range with increase in temperature.

I am using disordered organic semiconductors and I have doped them to increase the conductivity but after a certain doping ratio, the films are showing this type of behavior.

The data of conductivity and mobility is in good agreement with metal type conduction.

@Hasan, Can you tell me more precisely about the experiments, you have in mind. I can measure the optical bandgap.

Yes, it is showing metallic behaviour, which indicates that your doping is working. What I'm surprised about is that you do not see any carrier freeze-out at temperatures as low as 5K. Is it p- or n-type after doping? How does the undoped/ low doped material behave as a comparison?
