En el sitio en el que crecí desde mi niñez hasta mi adolescencia, se escuchaba mucho un proverbio del poeta y ensayista mexicano Octavio Paz el cual decía: "Una nación sin elecciones libres es una nación sin voz, sin ojos y sin brazos". Se me quedó grabado en la mente de tantas veces que lo escuché y a medida que iba creciendo le iba encontrando aun más significado.
