I totally agree with Philippe Fournier-Viger. Before applying data mining technique on any data, first you have to understand your data and what kinds of pattern or knowledge can be extracted from the data. Then you can choose appropriate data mining technique(s) for your desired output. Following a data mining methodology might be helpful for you.
