You're running the program correctly, but a SIGSEGV at that point of the program often indicates either a faulty installation or a out of memory error.

Assuming your installation is correct, you need to be aware that these codes were truly meant for HPC computing, with calculations that can use up to hundreds or even thousands of GB of RAM over hundreds or thousands of cores over weeks, so really you have to monitor your memory usage here.

In any case, could you show your input files ?

You can also use 'vasp -h' to get an overview of the command options and 'vasp -help' for more details on the command options and how to use them.
