I am using sequencing batch reactor, I need to operate 3 anaerobic and three aerobic phases but reactor is designed to provide contineous aeration, and anaerobic phase is not supposed to afford aeration therefore Iam looking for any chemical agent which can produce anaerobic situation during aeration .
Arsenic (specifically arsenite), malonate, and fluoroacetate are inhibitors of the Krebs cycle. They will definitely switch you over to anaerobic means of producing ATP. However, if you use them, you had better be very careful! They can kill!

You may add thioglycolate to your culture but check the toxicity of it for your microorganisms. Also you can check the anaerobic condition by adding resazurin that is color indicator as the oxygen is not present or has been removed from the medium by pre-reducing, resazurin does not produce a color.
