Doing research in the field of finance and investment, I found it difficult to understand various models, such as ARCH; GARCH and many more used in the contemporary research articles.
I am searching such a book(s) which can explain these models and methods in a very simple manner accompanied by example and data set. As I am not an expert in these areas of analysis, I want to learn those model from the very basic and beginners level.

2. Pesaran, M.H. (2015). Time Series and Panel Data Econometrics
You can download for free the book by Wang, financial econometrics, 2d Edition.Besides of that I strongly suggest to study the basics of probability and statistics, without these basics, and that includes a good portion of Markov Processes, and general, discrete-time, stochastic processes, research in your area is almost impossible ! Good luck with your studies!

Gujarati, Damodar (2004) "Basic Econometrics", it is an interesting book. It focuses on the basic subjects in econometrics and treats them with a simple manner.
Time Series and Panel Data Econometrics by Pesaran is useful for these kinds of time series Model. Also, quality research papers can be helpful to understand these methods in context.
International Economics and Finance books would be great for that.
