Dear colleagues,
Is there any book that you would recommend to linguistics students who would like to do questionnaires and surveys? My students tend to think that it suffices to write down a list of questions they would like to ask. My own research is mainly in corpus linguistics, so I am not necessarily the best person to make a recommendation, but I know that is not the way to go. Indeed, sometimes I am able to persuade them to read something on academic research before finalizing the questionnaire … but it would be terrific if I could say: "This is the book you should read!"
Best,
Heli
