THDv, THDi and PF at the generator terminals of an AC/DC-AC converter. Why is it necessary to correct these parameters at the generator terminals when these parameters are already corrected at the load side?
For example:
AC/AC Dc-Link (12-pulse diode rectifier and 12-pulse controlled IGBT Inverter)
Generator terminals: THDv: 13%, THDi: 20% and PF: 0.50
Load side: THDv: 2%, THDi: 4% and PF: 0.99
