Aggregates generally absorb water, both fine aggregate and coarse aggregate.
The recycled aggregate is the one which absorbs more amount of water when compared to other naturally available aggregates.
Recycled aggregates are obtained from construction demolition waste, generally this type of demolition waste consists of cementing particles around it and this enables the aggregate to absorb more water when compared to others.
