I wouldn't call that a "simulation". Its really just a calculation of equilibrium composition coming out of a gasifier/pox reactor.

Biomass POX actual has an intermediate - Char that is an intermediate product

I agree with Mr. Manner. Normally, biomass pyrolysis is modeled by using the product yield distribution. Due to the complexity of the chemical pathways. If you have different experimental runs you can establish some correlation between the experimental parameters and the product yields (tar, char, and gases). You can also find correlations for the gas composition.
