Hi, a couple of years ago a saw an ultrasonic anemometer for liquids. When I search now I only find ones for air. Does anyone know where I can buy one?
I`m not sure if an hot film anemometer for air can be used in liquids after calibration.
But if your liquid has air bubbles or is slight to heavily polluted you might use ultrasonic speckle tracking technique combined with gated puls-echo measurements. With that technique you are able to calculate the flow in different areas (gates).
I guess that Nivus has something like that in the shelf. Otherwise we can develop such a device for your demands.
