Would you please help in finding solar radiation and wind speed data (specially for recent years) for a special place using Geographical coordinates (globally)?
** Longitude and latitude for first location is 37.48oN & 48.9oE and for second one is 38.2oN & 48.26oE
please share links if possible.

If you select the option for ‘raw data’ on the web interface, you will be able to download these variables. With the wind model you’ll get speeds, with the solar model you’ll get irradiance.

Hi,
HOMER pro software is suitable to find the present solar radiation and wind speed data at any place in the world. You just have to input the geographical location of that place into the software. Hope so this will work for you.

I have applied homer (not new version but the older version). It only gives solar radiation and the data is for more than 5 years ago.
Does in new version it gives wind too?
Are the obtained data for recent years?

Hi, thanks alot. It seems to be a global website and helpful, but it does not give us solar radiation or wind speed as output?! (It almost simulates for specific ranges of wind turbines and solar panels)
You can look at the website of NASA. They also provide monthly averages of wind speed and solar radiation.

Thanks for sharing this paper. This paper has shown data for a specific location, not as a global point of view. I still think the mentioned paper (just below my question) is the most easiest way.
Solcast offers access to a global database of solar radiation data (GHI, DNI, DHI) that is free to access for Researchers:

Don't be fooled by the initial quota of data, Solcast will offer as much data as your project requires (within reason!).
