Hello Afolabi, your ideas should not play a big role as long as they are not confirmed by evidence. Your ideas are probably formed out of personal experience and the narratives of others. You can try and find evidence to a hypothesis you´ve build on personal experience. The evidence then, should be of high scientific quality. Your own ideas are of course very important in science: Newton, Einstein and Planck wouldn´t be familiar names if it wasn´t for their own view. But their ideas were (sooner or later) confirmed by evidence.
