The unit of my data is µg/m3. With these data I have plotted semivariogram. Then What would be the unit of semivariance in this case, (µg/m3 )2or µg2/m3 ?
If the unit is (µg/m3 )2 then how should I write this unit on the labels of a plot in case of scientific paper?

Semivariance, Y (µg/m3 )2 is fine. Correct form is (unit of variable)2

I think unit is not required. You can simply write semi-variance of that particular quantity/item
I agree with Sajal above. (µg/m3 )2 is fine. Semivariance carries the same unit as your data.
