The mercury and diaphragm cell are two outdated processes used to produce chlorine. Due to their environmental implications they are being phased out.
I am wondering what would be on average the typical cost to produce 1 tonne today, of chlorine from these processes as stated.
Any additional research papers would be greatly appreciated as references, thanks.
