It is well known that for a plant to grow generally air, water and sunlight are needed apart from the soil minerals. The photosynthesis process is dependent on absorption of sunlight. Root of a plant absorb water. Color of water has effect on color of leaf of some plants. As the color of plant leaf gets change the amount of absorbed sunlight may also get change. Apparently, energy deposited in the plant may vary with plant/leaf color. Black color may absorb more energy. Whether such variation of energy absorption will affect growth rate of the plant? Plants growing in mud or black soil seem to be having rapid growth. If we irrigate crops with color water what will be the effect on its growth rate? Whether this will increase productivity?
