Hi Rajesh,

With SENTINEL-1 the Interferometric Wide (IW) swath and the Stripmap (SM) modes are particularly used for flood monitoring as indicated in the ESA User Guides. But I'm not sure if you can access SM modes. I've attached some other references which may be useful for your study. Techincally speaking, Single Look Complex (SLC) and Ground Range Detected (GRD) are actually the terms for L-1 products. Each acquisition modes can generate SLC and GRD products.
