I'm finding UV lamp for photopolymerization.
The optimal range of irradiance for polymerization is around 5 mW/cm^2.
but the product specifications don't indicate irradiance value. I know irradiance can be different depends on distance. I can control the distance by controlling the position of the sample.
What type of UV lamp should I choose for UV crosslink? (5~10W is enough?)
I looked for a 100W lamp and it can generate about 10W/cm^2. it's too strong
You can use a filter to cut the intensity.
Depending on the volume of the polymerization, different types of lamps might be appropriate.
which wavelength do you need for initiation? There are UV LED`s available on the market emitting at 365, 375, 385 nm. They are remarkably effective and easy to modulate.

WE buy our Photochemical equipment from ACE Glass Incorporated, from 1430 northwest Boulevard, Vineland, N J, they have many different Immersion or not UV lamps from mercury, medium pressure, for different samples volumen and different watts and emiting UV, and also different equipment for different conditions.
