Hi everyone,
I need some expert input about the soldering compatibility in sulfamic acid and indium sulfamate mixture. We have designed a sample holder for using in electroplating solution that contains INDIUM SULFAMATE 10-12wt%, SULFAMIC ACID 2-4wt%, SODIUM SULFAMATE 14-16wt%, INDIUM (30-60 grams/liter of solution). The holder is made of PTFE. We are using pogo pins to make connections to our sample or substrate which will be held inside the sample holder. We are planning to solder these pins to wire to make the connection to external circuits.
My question is : which soldering material is compatible with such plating solutions so that they do not corrode by acids or other species in the mixture?
I would appreciate your help and knowledge in this matter,
Thank you,
Hasnain
