Topic of Article: "Temporal Variations in Land use and Land cover Change" the article, I have to inform you that we reject the article without further formal review. Although we had the impression that the analyses were quite good, we doubt that the results in their present form would be of interest to a wider readership. Unfortunately, it remains unclear in what respect the manuscript on the results of the case study should contribute to scientific knowledge. The results are certainly of regional importance, but for an international journal either something new would have to be presented at the methodological level, or the results themselves would have to be embedded in a broader context and should allow new insights.
This means that you can generalize your results. In the other meaning, is the regional scale interested to the international reader unless it intrduces something to him? For example any region in china is not interested to me and the peers in other contries until it presents something about soil type (for example) that found in semilar places in the world.
Or you can intrduce the results considering important thing which was neglected in the similar studies and wide range of readers can consider in such studies.
It sounds as if they are asking what is new (novel) about the study: (a) what new methods were developed and used, or (b) how the results have provided new insight into science.
You can either submit the manuscript to a regional/local journal or situate the research findings within the global literature. Try to ask yourself these two important questions: What knowledge gap is the paper trying to fill? What theoretical, methodological or practical contribution is it trying to make?
