I am running phanotate tool in linux and the result is printed out in the terminal. But i don't know what to do with it. Can some help me on how to save those results for further use?
I am extremely new to this and still trying to figure out.
you can redirect the program output to a file. The following link explains how to do this: https://askubuntu.com/questions/420981/how-do-i-save-terminal-output-to-a-file
May I know what kind of file phanotate results must be saved. The output that I get in terminal is the start and end of orf regions of whole genome and config score. In what format should I save it?
