What the natural stimuli for pigeons do you use?

Do natural stimuli add additional meaning and change some principles of learning we observe?

That is a big question! It would be nice if we could use simple, abstract stimuli to divulge the basic mechanisms of categorization. However, natural stimuli are far more complex and may enlist much more elaborate mechanisms. Experiments will have to be very clever to solve this problem.
