i want to use antioxidant for my enhancing the thermal stability of polymer modified bitumen , so adding it with polymer simultaneously will work best or adding lator after polymer addition would be best here and at what temperature
Answer depends upon the physical state of the anitoxidant and therefore the ease of handling it vs a chemical issue. If solid, suggest adding with the polymer which I assume at this point is a granular SBS material. Otherwise, if a liquid then a direct addition to the bitumen would be preferred. If your polymer is a liquid latex then adding it to the latex would be fine.
I agree with Peter as the form of antioxidant is important to decide the best way of adding the antioxidant.
