I think no major statistics needed as most of the survey work . different measures of central tendency, chi square or t test will do. any co relation and regression can also be done. All social science statistics tool also applies in ethnobotany in general.
No major statistical tests needed but depending on the information you intend to relay, there are several ethnobotanical indicies that could be used e.g. Informant consensus Factor, Fidelity levels, Use values and preference ranking. Otherwise descriptive statistics can be used to present any information acquired through ethnobotanical studies
