3 nodes are used more than once as a slave node in *TIE keyword. These constraints are not removed either due to the presence of *CONSTRAINT CONTROLS,NO CHANGES keyword or because removing the constraints might affect the model. The nodes have been identified in node set ErrNodeOverconTieSlave.
By changing seeds, the error disappears, but is there any other way? What does this error mean?
A slave dof is written as a linear combination of master dofs in a constraint equation which might be set up automatically when, for example, you tie two surfaces together. It sounds like some of the slave dofs are being defined in more than one constraint equation which leads to the over-constraint warning. From your note it seems that ABAQUS has a switch on the *constraint controls so you might find that changing this will get the software to deal with this for you (although you will need to understand why this is happening and whether there is a better way of defining the constraints). Are you able to provide some more information about your model and perhaps a figure or two?
Remove the offending nodes from one or more of the additional node sets used in your *TIE constraints. A node should only appear within a slave node set for a single constraint. Depending on your geometry / mesh partitions / node sets, the easiest way to do this may be to search for the offending node ID within the *nset definitions in you .inp file.
