Which method you choose would depend on what you want to achieve. Be specific of what you want to study, what variables involved in the study, how you plant to measure the variables, etc. Or mention the hypothesis you intend to prove in your study.

Hi Dantala, As Zain says it depends on the several questions raised by him. Many research methodologies fit for many situations. And it also differs in disciplines. However, to start with, especially for systems development, SDLC (system development life cycle) is one very useful methodology. See the paper and book of Davis. Systems theory also can help on this issue.
