The project i want to embark on is on performance management systems of University Executive members.
By looking at both financial and academic performance of the universities. You can use the global rankings of universities as proxy measure.
Institutional management has regularities that we must take into account systematically. Among which we can point out: the existence of a strategic project, which must be deployed to the management system of the entity structured in processes and which measures its performance through indicators. This is the basis for evaluating the performance of the organization that must be done on the basis of compliance with the objectives / goals that the institution plans to obtain. Then the institutional performance must be done through evaluating the fulfillment of the planned objectives
I agree with Michelena. It is important to have defined the objectives, indicators and goals to be achieved and evaluate their compliance.
Balanced Scorecard can be useful to cover four aspects. It has strategic aspects also.
