It goes without saying in the context of a political set-up that a political party or leader, especially those in power, needs to be accountable for their actions (or the lack of it). Question is, whether a mechanism is in place to ensure better accountability on their part and if it does then how the same could be implemented to ensure better performance and how the same could be measured?
