Success is very dear to all of us, to everyone, we suppose. Everybody wants it and nobody likes failure in anything. But the most important question is as to how many of us want it very much, how many of us try really hard for it and how many know the right way to achieve it and how many of us are willing to pay the price for it.

I don't think any rules to describe successful career and a happy life..it depends purely individual people..mean it vary from person to person..i believe successful career can be achieved by via..proper planning and execute the plan by hard working..the definition of happy life is varying from person to person..i feel if you achieve something to run your daily life without any trouble in terms of money, then the person is happy in life..i also feel that money is not necessary after fulfilling your every day life..ok all the best..
I feel that if a person is being successful in his or her career, then this individual is probably happy in pursuing this path. I agree with Dr Karthigeyan . S that it does vary from person to person. I was lucky that for over 20 years before I retired, I was in much the same pathway although for some of that time I was involved in research, but in the same field. I was lucky; however, if I had not been happy and fulfilled in what I was doing, I would have changed my job.
Passion, honesty, dedication, transparency, hard work, care about others, time management, and most importantly care about your own family and spending enough time with your family and providing them with all what is needed for their happiness.
