If your aim is to observe the polysaccharides, you'll need to use gold grids and stain the ultrathin sections according to the periodic acid-thiosemicarbazide-silver proteinate method described by Thiéry (1967). The original article might be difficult to be found but there are a lot of articles using the same method. An example is attached.
Regarding the observation of phospholipids, they might be already visible if you fixated with osmium tetroxide. Good luck!
