I have prepared a chitosan-allicin complex in different concentrations, as am from nanotechnology background i don't know what kind of test gives me the exact results to study the impact of the drug on cholesterol and low density lipoproteins!

The effect of allicin on cholesterol levels is a complex mechanism requiring a multitude of organic materials usually present in viva.
As far as I know, serum cholesterol levels can be determined by in viva studies and not through any known in vitro studies.
I guessed the same but just wanted to be sure!!

To check the effect of the drug on cholesterol and Oxi-LdL, it may be necessary for you to conduct a short-term in vivo experiment. Blood is the main sample to check. Also if you want to see how this drug affects genes related to cholesterol metabolism, you may try an in vitro model of liver.
