Present Covid-19 not only challenged the healthcare system and affected world economy adversely. It has also created a big challange for policy makers and WHO has also not faced such a big health issue in recent past.
I think International Health Agencies have failed big time during these testing times. Changing statements and guidelines on day to day basis has rather confused more than helping anyone. Everyday they chaged statements regarding transmission, infectivity, origin, diagnosis and therapeutic remedies. Even national agencies like ICMR have performed well than these global giants. WHO has suffered more dents to its credibility than ever before. I hope they change their attitude, vision and revise their strategy by the lessons learnt during these unforeseen and unexpected circumstances.
Shobhit Kumar dear, Its going on the right track, one have to say. What WHO said proven right sooner or later. As a international body, its activities has been compromised due to undue pressures from so many so called superpower. In light of that I must say that it is successful till date.
