The protection of persons involved in observational studies in developing countries does not get its required level of attention as required by the National or international Ethical Guidelines (i.e.Helsinki Declaration). Leaders of the Health System seem to undermine the critical scrutiny of Ethical Procedures for the reason of health development assistance from incoming bodies in Resource Limited Settings. The 'poor' segment of society deserve even more protection for this reason alone.
