Education is the basic need of our life .It is thru our education which our knowledge ,discipline ,code of behavior ,it help us to become worthy human beings to make our life more fruitful for our self ,our family & our social environment .
With this i have my presentation of under the captioned ''Education '' which i submit herewith for your perusal & also for our valued readers .
Swami Vivekananda’s views on education brings to light a constructive, practical and comprehensive approach to education. By giving education, he tries to materialize the moral and spiritual welfare and upliftment of humanity, irrespective of caste, creed, nationality or time. By the way of his scheme of education, we can get to build the strong nation with peace and harmony and without caste and creed. But contrary to following his ideas, we are giving bookish knowledge to our kids without giving exposure to other areas of education with the result that when they complete the education, they get degrees but they fail to develop strong moral and spiritual character.
It is a superb question. Not to take my answer out of its context, I might perhaps merely cite the definition of education that I offered in the paper presented 1 May 2012 to the USDLA "Constructive Heuristics: Candidate Best Practices for 21st Century Education", a copy of which is posted under my profile.
I invite anyone who has looked up the aforementioned definition of education under my profile to contribute any feedback on it. In case it should result in any change, I will of course cite the contributor in any future publications on this topic (unless you prefer to remain anonymous).
