What are the invisible barriers that prevent women from breaking through the glass ceiling at universities?
Today, the world is on a crucial race towards the eradication of "omen silencing" and Gender discrimination which has so many to do with the advancement of career women to the topmost position in organizations s universities too are not left out of these endless list. the women needs to stand tall now that the contemporary action is being centered on their total freedom and career advancement in their different fields in life. when the women sends a signal to inform colleagues on their different steps to progression in their careers, then the society including the institutions and its components will have no option other than bowing to the truth of the fact that all animals are equal. then glass ceiling, glass cliff and any other glass theory being used will vanish with time. all the best Laila Nimri
Today, women are there, at many places, which were occupied by men, like (infantry) arm forces, construction (heavy job), heavy truck driving etc., along with their, occupied places in hospital, banks, grocery stores, university/schools, offices( disciplined, reliable and hardworking) even in active politics(many country president), as a father of single daughter, I would not like to advocate specially for women only. " Strugal for existence, and survival of fittest " is applicable to all, equally, no need to worry, for women position and power.
