Dear sir, I am using inconel 825 as a workpice. i just want to know the value of FLOW-STERSS of Inconal 825 for analysis purpose. kindly guide me and if possible give me the references links about it.
For coefficient of friction, two contacting materials should be known. One is Inconel 825, what is the other?
The below publication shows the Coefficient of friction for Inconel 690/600 from two-body sliding wear tests.
If you want to determine the coefficient of friction for your alloy, run your specimen on a standard pin-on-disc tribometer (as per ASTM G99) at varying loads/ speeds.

The flow stress is given by: flow stress = K (true strain)^n for cold working and, flow stress at a given true strain = C (true strain rate)^m for hot working. Please refer to the chapter on bulk deformation processing in J.A.Schey's book (McGraw-Hill, 2 edition). In Table 4-3 (page 203) you will find values for K,n,C and m for Hastelloy X.
My previous answer referred to 2nd edition of Schey's book. There is a newer 3rd edition. The values of K, n, C and m are in Table 8.3 (page 283) for Hastelloy X. The chapter to read in this edition for the formula for flow stress is Chapter 8.
