Yes, i know this. I model VLC with a LOS channel. My problem is different: i want a mathematics (statistics) BER calculation for an ON-OFF keying Not Return Zero demodulator.

The demodulator has an average threshold level. If the received signal is higher then average threshold the received signal is set to 1 else the received signal is set to zero.
