I don't know about Africa, but I can comment on EU. The general tendency and approach in EU is that entrepreneurial eduation is needed in all professions - it is one of the major human resurce competencies. In some countries it us well applied in this context (Finland), but inothers mot so well (Croatia). Here entrepreneurial education id still perceived as something relevant for business students only. Please look at my paper on RG: Business education in Croatia: thr transitional challenge. I hope rhis helps.
Entrepreneurship education for non-business students has recently gained increasing attention from educators and policy makers. giving entrepreneurial education to non business student may be more useful to exploit the potential of student and gaining competitive edge. the following research work may be more useful for you in getting subject insight
This is an interesting question. I would like to describe that entrepreneurship education EE for non-business student may be considered equally important as B. Students. This statement is also proved by several studies including empirical. Considering the nature of Entrepreneurship--it is not necessary that only a business student will be a good entrepreneur. I am not only oppose this but there are many other also believe in this. For instance, you can find many entrepreneurs having less or no such education of E. Even they may be succeeded more than one who have studied E. You can also observe daily in real life-many uneducated or non-Business students enjoying successful business than one who have spend much time on E. I would like to give more preference to psychological traits that may play significance role. However remember that one of recent AOM study, for instance surprisingly indicates that personality traits can be changed and researchers can use it as mediators or DV also.
Each person is obliged to be part of the development of a country. People do not choose in which social or economic group they are born. But if they can improve their current economic conditions. The motivation must begin by the change within ourselves. Today we are better and tomorrow we will be much more. Countries that have reached a level of social economic and technological progress did not do so in one year. It took decades and other centuries.
