The CI for the difference in medians can be derived by the percentile bootstrap method.
What is the STATA command to analyze median difference with 95% confidence interval between two study groups?
WILCOXON TEST. COMMAND : signrank
Hi Angela,
The outcome parameter is total morphine consumption.
There was an error with the command you suggested as- signrank morphine, by (group)
However, with the command- ranksum morphine,by(group)- you get the p value.
But I want also the median difference(CI) in morphine comsumption between two groups.
Thanks in advance.
Asish
You want to use -qreg-, which is quantile regression. The default quantile is the median (i.e., median regression)
.qreg morphine group
