I am working on a new project that involves the use of the Redshift for the measurement of the characteristics of any galaxy or star by using a computer software. upon knowing the value of the redshift, I will make calculations by use of physics laws and then will make classification for the obtained results. In other words, I will introduce such results to an artificial intellegence machine in order for the computer to be able to process plenty of photos in quick and better manner. The problem is that I want to know the scientific terminology for the diagram which gives me the the wavelength for the chemical elements coming from the light for a certain photo. So, what is the scientific term for such diagram and what is the chemical element that must be used to measure the redshift?
