We observed good number of physicians to prescribe montelukast and antihistamin in covid-19 infection. We know montelucast blocks leuketriens receptors and anti-histamin blocks histamine receptor but what is the benefit in covid -19 infection we do not know. So should we increase the load of these drugs in corona infection?
there have been no studies examining the use of mast cell stabilisers, leukotriene antagonists or anti-histamines in COVID-19.
In covid alter innate immune system consequently, cytokine, leuktrine attack host organ and damage in the form of storm. In these conditions use monteleukast and histamine to modulate this action. In other words protect from allergies.
Mast cell modulator and antihistamines will not treat COVID but will reduce the nasal/airway symptoms and at the long run reduce the morbidity and the rate of spread through aerosol.

At this time, there is no treatment for persistent COVID-19, nor is it officially approved by the WHO Montelukast has been used empirically in people with COVID-19, but the drug has not yet been approved for this indication. in July 2021
The same can be said of antihistamines, although they can come in handy to combat certain symptoms, but they would not cease to be aids against SYMPTOMS (as could happen with some drugs that are used in the Flu) ... BUT THEY SHOULD NEVER BE CONSIDERED TREATMENTS ETIOLOGICAL, SPECIFIC OR OF CHOICE
