What is the relation between the change in enthalpy with the acidic medium?

In photoreaction, the reaction must be endothermic, but I found some photoreactions are exothermic, closely at acidic medium...

I would like to get on a suitable answer for that.....

Hi Luma,

the decision if a reaction seen in a DSC curve is endo- or exothermic strictly depends on the baseline of the instrument/measurement. Have you performed a proper baseline measurement? If not it might likely be that the typically bended baseline causes problems with interpretation of the measured curve.
