Considering co ercivity to be the resistance of a material to de magnetization and magnetization to be mainly due to electron spin what actually happens at the sub atomic level on demagnetising a material ? Is it true for all the magnetic materials that coercivity increases with demagnetisation?

At the subatomic level, the increase in coercivity when a material is demagnetized is due to the fact that the magnetic moments of the atoms become more aligned with each other as the material is demagnetized. This alignment of the magnetic moments creates a stronger magnetic field, which increases the coercivity of the material. This is because the stronger magnetic field makes it more difficult for the magnetic moments to be reversed, thus increasing the coercivity.
