I do not have an exact answer. However, in astrophysics, a 10-100TeV charged particle may have 26-28 interactions in atmosphere before researching the ground. In anther word, the atmosphere has more than 2 dozens of interaction lengths for TeV hadronic particle. Therefore, a particle like this will generate a huge hadronic cascade ("shower")for over 10,000 square meters on the ground.
A piece of paper can make a 1MeV alpha particle stop. However, at TeV level, a shower must be considered. Since there are so many secondary particles, in which a lot of them are photons, the word "range" might not be the correct description.
