Bio Slurry(Cow dung/Poultry) contains a lot of water. But for organic fertilizer, the Government's Water/ Moisture content range is (10 20)%. As a result we need to remove the excess water content. So what is the proper process to remove excess water?
You may sun dry it or put it in the oven at 50 degree Celsius till desired moisture content.
If the moisture content is upto 30_35%,there is no need to remove extra moisture. If moisture content is above that label then the appropriate and most economic is sun drying before exporting it to the field.
Spread bio slurry under shade on the flat surface and dry for 3-4 days depending on weather.
(It is always good to construct a roofing or shading mechanisms to prevent excessive evaporation of water from bio slurry. This also helps in protecting the nutrients from excessive drying)
you can remove excess water hrough cowdung dewatering machine and then dry ...It will take less drying time
A dewatering machine will instead lead to loss of dissolved nutrients. i think solar drying is the most appropriate
