I have fabricated a sandwich structure BT/polymer nanocomposites, with 1 vol.% BT/Polymer in the outer two layers while x = 3,5,7,9 and 11 vol.% BT/polymer in the sandwiched layer. When I measured the D-E loops, it showed an increasing trend of remnant polarization except for 1-7-1 BT/polymer. Can anyone suggest why does the 1-7-1 BT/polymer showed this specific behavior? Please, do remember that the Dmax, Dmax-Pr and energy density of 1-7-1 BT/polymer nanocomposite is also higher in comparison to the other nanocomposites. Thanks.
My suggestion is to repeat the synthesis of the 1-7-1 sample to confirm the unexpected results.

Then maybe you could put error bars on your graph to check whether there is a significant difference between the first three samples.
Maybe you could make a design of experiment about your processing and sample preparation parameters to figure out what could be the cause.
Maybe percolation doesn't occur before 7vol%. What is the particle size?
Further, have you any SEM or TEM picture of the 1-3-1, 1-5-1, and 1-7-1 assemblies?

I would have been interested to see your SEM pictures since I have done some pionneering work to understand the relationship between formulation, morphology properties of nanocomposites due to the interaction between the polymer and the particles.
What polymer did you use?
