In today's technology-driven educational environment, modern teachers face several technical challenges that can affect teaching and learning. Kindly suggest me few issue that you all face.
Actually teaching in the innovative wold poses significant number of challenges...teaching students you under stand to have got different sources of knowledge that your imparting to them it is an alarm that you need motivate them into a learning process and engagement....I always feel like i do have two different the tasks at the same time....making them concentrate with what am teaching in the given class sessions on the first instance and assisting them to correctly and effectively
use teaching tools and sources in their independent learning.
In recent decades, not only the technological sphere has undergone thorough revolutionary changes, but also research, teaching, and education. While these transformative developments have contributed to individual and societal progress, they also brought their challenges, which need to be addressed.
1.
Lack of intellectual inspiration: Only a small number of students are truly motivated by the idea of learning, the value of knowledge, and the essence of education.
2.
High academic expectations of students: Sometimes, regardless of teachers' skills or professional capacities, students are too detail-oriented and require teachers to have constant attention, not tolerating any missing points or overlooked elements.
3.
Underconfidence of students: Since teaching includes some level of public speaking, for students who are less confident in their communication skills or are just shyer than others, this can lead to passivity during classes.
4.
Not regular attendance: Although some students can be quite punctual, being present in most classes, others are being late or not attending regularly.
Given the above-mentioned points (while many others are not addressed here), it can be concluded that both pedagogy and andragogy face contemporary challenges. Responding to them requires professional resilience, academic understanding, and cross-cultural dialogue from the individuals working within these fields.
I would mention two. First, the teaching profession is not attractive, and second, the role of artificial intelligence in the field of education.
1. The global media company Forbes said:
"Would you counsel a young person you cared about to choose a career in education? These days, most of us wouldn’t. The systemic issues in education are becoming too massive to continue ignoring. Burned-out teachers, embattled administrators, overburdened counselors and support staff stretched to the breaking point: it’s a recipe for disaster. And it’s catching up with us.
The problem is not just current teachers exiting the field. It’s that there are fewer people entering the profession to replace them".
2. UNESCO has already begun to develop proposals and projects such as "Teaching Artificial Intelligence in School," whose purpose is to integrate AI into the training programs.
We are facing problems with attention span of students which has gone substantially down. Also, they want stimuli more frequently and doesn't have patience to perceive and digest what has been discussed.
