I have hardly 6 months. I covered full basics of LCA and also ISO framework. I need a spark to create a idea and work on it. Please help me to hit the good idea.
I have noticed that most ongoing research on LCA is about Aluminum industry, Aluminum cans, in which you can compare between the recycled ones and the ones produced from virgin material etc. According to my knowledge, they are not progressing well due to the lack of research on that field . Other topics are related to LCA on biofuels produced from different raw material.

I believe that comparing LCA results based on average databases and primary data collection is interesting.
The question of uncertainty of transport distances of construction materials is still open. It is highly dependent on the geography and market structure of countries so there is a lot of variability and uncertainty to deal with. E

The LCA issues related to construction and demolition waste are very relevant and even more so when the recycling content is incorporated into the construction materials. On the other hand, if you study LCA in HVAC systems, it could also be very interesting.

You can also focus on some indicators and improve it.
As Edwin suggest you , reduce the uncertainty, but also develop and/or improve an indicator with the spatial consideration or dynamic aspect. The theory seems easy... but I work on it for 6 years (+ 4 PhD students). GWP was not so difficult, but ecotoxcologal problem is more complex, and I have new PhD student about Abiotic depletion... Still lots of work to do ;)
The most interesting is that the results can inversed with static and dynamic model or with the regional model.
