difficult to answer with certainty, but for me it evokes lesions of dermatophilosis, caused by the bacterium Dermatophilus congolensis. Such lesions progress in a few weeks or months, the animal emaciates and usually ends up dying. You should be able to have a bacteriological diagnosis made to confirm/infirm. If D. congolensis is the causative agent, the best solution would probably be to slaughter the animal before it loses too much weight, as antibiotic treatments are generally ineffective at this stage. The appearance of this disease is favoured by skin lesions (thorny bushes...), hot and humid seasons, stress...

I had used Tribrissen (trimethoprim/silphadiazin) and Ann-Vil (pheniramine maleate) 3ml of each for three consecutive days and now the animal is fully healthy

Very interesting, thank you for sharing your solution. Local veterinarians prescribed tetracyclines to treat dermatophilosis, but there was usually a relapse after a few weeks, with a very rapid decline in body condition. We were able to control a outbreak in a sheep herd by eradicating Amblyomma variegatum ticks, which were the main triggering agent, and culling affected animals (nearly half of the flock).

If you have the opportunity, I suggest you to check up on this animal to make sure it is well healed permanently, and that there will be no relapse in the coming months.
